The Kane Valley road is a little road off the highway a little while from Hope, BC. Canada.

You can’t see it here unfortunately but there were a few eagles in the very center of the picture sitting on some wood, looking majestic.

I have since replaced the soft shell saddle bags with custom built metal panniers I made from US army ammo containers. They let me carry three times the weight and look much better too.

Note for any rider: don’t go offroading with run down tires (like I had at that time). Even if it’s just gravel or especially if it’s gravel, it makes a huge difference.

You can see some RVs in the back, quite a few people were camping at the lake, it must have been a great time.
